The HX6 is a hybrid Arriba Stick -- ½ carbon, ½ fiberglass.  It offers the lighter weight of the CX6, while retaining the fiberglass extension of the FX6, which is non-conductive.  Hobie Class Association rules don't allow hiking sticks that may conduct electricity.  However, the class does allow sticks with non-conductive extensions.  APP offers the hybrid HX6 to competitive Hobie racers:    - All-Carbon Inner Core    - Fiberglass Outer Extension The HX6 comes equipped with rubber end grip and lighter-weight hardware to attach it to the tiller cross bar.
